I've had awning problems one time on my 2010 Sunseeker 3120. It would not unfold. I cycles the switch several times. Maybe a loose connection. Also, when you tilt the awning to one side for rain to roll off, make sure it is not on the motor/electrical side.

Our 2010 Sunseeker 3100SS awning is acting up also. Sometimes it does not want to retract without some muscle help. I think the spring needs rewound. Has anyone done this before?

I am starting to think that the problem is the awning is out of line.I have noticed that the awning is after moving to one side more than the other and I think this is causing the awning to jam as it is rolling up.I've tried everything to pull it back so that it would be even on both ends but no luck.I guess I will have to take it in to the dealer...

I have a sunseeker 3120 with awning issues when in key west I cycled the switch several times to get it to work. I need to check the connector for corrosion. I suggest when it rains, tilt the awning lower on the opposite side of the motor/connector to prevent water from getting in the motor/connector.

Hey, does the motor end on these electric awnings still have to be locked to be removed ? Our camper is 2yrs old ,no problems yet,I was thinking about installing this 10 ft section of stainless inside to remove a little bow that I have in the awning pole,,,(it has always had a slight bow) check this out RV Awning Repair | MegaX57

Steve,
I have got to say that that repair idea is very neat. It is going in my bag of tricks and it may help someone (maybe even me!) one day.
Here is the manual on the electric awning.
Not much in there, but good luck.

This might be of some benefit if you are going to take the motor & spring off the tube.
