If it is a suburban, it is in the lower left corner of the WH. You need to open the outside access door and look in lower left hand corner on unit. Should be a small black rocker switch. May be behind wires.

When it comes time to winterize and you drain your water tank make sure you turn that switch off or else you will be replacing the heating element.

Before I wired in a switch with light, I found it easier to turn it off at the breaker. In your breaker panel (under bed) one of the breakers will (should be) labeled water heater ( might abbreviate it to "HW")

The switch was outside on the hot water heater. everytime I have plugged the Coach in it was on even in storage

Apparently the people who owned it before me never bothered to turn it off nor did the dealer who did the 200 point inspection which they say cost them about $2000.00 to do.

Thanks for all of the help folks !
