Emergency window replacement

Has anyone thought about replacing the rear emergency window with a sliding window that can be opened?
The frame looks the same as the side windows on my 3050s which have glass on one side and screen on the other.
This mod would greatly increase bedroom ventilation but it seems like it would still maintain the emergency functionality.
Thanks for your thoughts

Your emergency window doesn’t open?

I absolutely wouldn’t take away an emergency exit.

I think he wants to replace a non opening escape window with an opening escape window like We have in our unit. I see no reason why not change it as long as it fits the opening.

I guess I’ve never seen a non-opening emergency exit window.

There are non opening types out there. I think they are to cover someone's butt. If in a motor home and left open driving down the road, exhaust fumes could be drawn into the vehicle like the old station wagons would do.

Welp, I learned something new today and it’s not even noon yet. Time to wrap up and sleep until tomorrow.

Do you have a picture of yours? Did your rig come like that or did you have it modified?
Thanks

The 3050 e window opens but has to be held open. And, there isn’t any screen so here come the bugs.

At some point during every day you suddenly realize nothing else productive is going to happen the rest of that day. For me, it usually occurs around 9 am.

Came with a slider/ opening emergency exit window. Inner and outer frame. Inner has the slider and the whole inner frame is the emergency window.
