Exit window 3050sf

Hi, Question what happens when you open the rear window? Is it hinged at the top or fall to the ground? It says exit only.

You need to open it so if there is an emergency, it wont be your first time opening it.

I put a screen on mine, held on by magnets, so I can prop it open and now I get more fresh air.

Screen is great idea. Window is steel so magnets work? Did you get a custom screen or ?? Please give details. This is exactly what we were looking for. Thanks Larry

I bought sudden and magnets at hardware store. I used epoxy to mount magnets along frame. I cut screen to size.

I also used small binder clips to hold along vertical sections with the magnets along top and bottom.

I can take pics this weekend.

Wes

As Brian has pointed out, need to make sure you don't modify in any way that would cause the exit path to be blocked as a safety exit path.
