Fantastic fan screen removal

I have one of these units in my rv. There is an outside cover over it, but a large beetle got inside. Is there a way to remove the inside screen so I can remove the critter?

We have removed ours from inside several times, there is a ridged part on the ring and just pull, it is held in place by little snaps that are part of the ring, pull gently so you don' break the snaps.

I just open the lid and flick the screen with my finger. The debris usually ends up on the roof. Problem solved.
