Ford E450 Custom Alignment Specs

This was posted in other threads, I figured I would post it in its own thread so that others can find it.

FYI, we align to Ford "required" specs from the factory which can be pretty broad.

This is a MUCH tighter spec that goes above and beyond what Ford specs in and will require adjustable cam bushings.

Proceed at your own risk. We also found that it helps to have some mileage on the rig, as weight seems to help the chassis settle a bit.

How many miles did you put on the MH before you had the alignment?

Is this custom alignment specs for any E450 chassis used in a MH?

Do you bring these specs to the dealer / alignment shop and tell them to align to these specs?

I can't for everyone...but it works in the E450's that we build. Sunseeker, Forester, Lexington

Any idea if these specs are the same for a E350? (2011 Sunseeker 2300)

I'm going to do this as well as soon as I find a shop in southern NH that can do it. I also need to put on a few more miles, would like to get it over 2000.
Thanks, again!

Is it true FR will reimburse for the alignment, and if so, how do I go about getting reimbursement?

Yeah, I'd like to know that too. Don't like the front end "wander" on a brand new RV with correct air shock and tire pressure.

Please remember, this alignment spec is above and beyond what Ford mandates. If you want to get an alignment to within Ford tolerance it does NOT require adjustable cam bushings. Ford may cover a regular alignment, they are not required to cover one requiring extra parts.

This spec was posted for those that wanted to dial in a much tighter tolerance over and above the very broad Ford spec.

I was reimbursed through my dealer. Check took about 4 weeks. However it came directly from Forest River.

Atver, did you o through the service dept? My dealer isnt very customer friendly, especially after the sale, so I dont like the chances of them helping in any way
