Have to agree on the leg room (or lack thereof) in the Ford. I'm a short person and I'm all folded up in that corner. Glad we don't take her cross-country!

I was told that during the restructure that GM stopped production on anything above the 3500 size. They don't make anything bigger now. Not sure if that is correct, but if you search for used vehicles you won't find any.

Surely you would think Forest River would be able to get the straight scoop from Chevy. My Chevy chassis on our 2013 2450S rode, drove, sat better with better mileage than the Ford. I could not fit comfortably in the Ford and I am only 6 foot tall.

6'2" I fit great in the Ford. I have had both Ford and Chevy Class C units and do not see any differences in the drivers seat room. .

OK glad to see someone chime in with no problem with Ford drivers area. Im 5'11" or so with a definite beer belly and have been comfortable driving it. Actually really enjoy driving it. Can't wait for the big grand tour of US when I hit retirement

I'm 6' tall and 215 lbs driving the 3010 . The ford seats are fine with this butt. Anything over 4 hours will start to annoy me, but otherwise there is plenty of room for me.

We had a 2004 Newmar 35' MH with the Workhorse and 8.1 chevy and Allison transmission.
Great chassis with a lot of power in the mountains, etc. It was discontinued but it would be great if it came back.......

I've driven both Chevy & Ford. The driver side leg room is the same on both...might be personal preference or perception (with the Ford dog house). The passenger side is where the chevy has more room...but in my opinion it's not enough to be a deciding factor. Unless you have the seat all the way up, the Ford has the leg room...its just off to the right side a little bit. While this can be annoying...I have done 4 hour stretches in the passenger seat (5'11") and was just fine. My seat was all the way back and I could not reach the end of the foot well. If you seat is all the way up, the I can see having your legs off center being an issue....but the Chevy is off center too. just not as much.
