forester upgrades on sunseeker

Mr. Clemens,

is it possible to get the forester upgrades on a sunseeker.

the closest forester dealer to me is 300 miles away(per FR website).

I have 2 sunseeker dealers within an hour in 2 directions.

thanks

Unfortunately not. Where are you from? We have new Forester dealers signing up every day. A Sunseeker dealer can service a Forester...granted it would be better to buy locally, but I can check on our options with the local rep.

Yes, you're not in a good spot. He just signed a few Forester dealers...but not near you. You would have to trek into PA to find one.

Many of the Forester standard features are available as options on the Sunseeker. If you haven't already, get copies of both brochures and see if any of the Forester upgrades that are not available on the Sunseeker are really important to you. Our local dealer had both models in stock and had a comparison sheet showing the differences between the two models. With most of the floorplans on the lot, in either one or both models, we could see for sure what we wanted to order. We bought a Sunseeker with options for some of the items that were standard on the Forester, but didn't buy some such as the partial body paint.

We were able to compare both this past September at the Hershey PA show. They were about 75 yards from each other.... From my notes; the Forester had a additional cabinet right over the entry door, upgraded recessed LED lighting, light switch on the wall rather than on the fixture, "Salad Bowl" sink in the head, padded upholstered ceiling, upgraded upholstery and cabinet hardware, slightly different carpet/lino layout... other than those items, the two we compared were all but identical.

That is correct, although I'm not sure where we use a "salad bowl" sink?
I have posted this list before, but that was before LED lights.

• Skirt Paint (Standard)
• Vinyl soft-touch ceiling
• Recessed glass LED light fixtures
• Fiberglass running boards
• Serta Eurotop mattress (Standard)
• Fiberglass front cap (Standard)
• Carpet (lino throughout optional)
• LED Floor Lighting (Night Light)
• Hidden Hinges
• Cedar Lined Closets
• Outside Security Light
• Cabinet over doorway
