Freshwater tank valve

Just purchased a 2018 Sunseeker 2400 rds and cannot locate the valve to drain the freshwater onboard tank. Have located the low point drains and the overflow from the water filter.

I have a 2016 2400R and there is a valve where the water pump is. Turn the valve 90 degrees and the fresh water tank drains under the motorhome.

That's where I thought it should be, I've checked several times and I don't see a valve. I'll give it another shot.

fresh water drain

We had the same problem and no one even at the factory could locate the valve to drain the fresh water.

We did locate the blue hose under the coach but it didn't have a shutoff on it. Upon further investigation we found the valve under the bed. Yes, under the bed. Turned the valve and low and behold the water came out of that blue hose. Guess you just have to keep investigating when you can't find something.

Hope this helps.

Forest River really needs to include a document [ single sheet] in all new RV's listing the location of fresh water tank drain valve, low point drains, water heater bypass valves and all other important items specific to that vehicle.

Try finding any other RV manufacturer that does such a thing.
Probably less than 3 or 4.

My FR Primetime has all the drain valves labeled, on the side of the trailer.
