Furnace vent problem
I have a 2009 Sunseeker 2860DS. I was running some wiring yesterday for an inverter installation and I had to remove a drawer in the rear of the coach. It was the bottom left drawer at the foot of the bed. Underneath the drawer is a heat vent. When I removed the drawer I found that the vent hose was torn from the drawer rubbing it when opened and closed. I used some heat duct tape and repaired the hole and then used some very thin flashing to provide something for the drawer to rub against that would keep the vent hose from re-tearing. We have been losing quite a bit of heat from this tear. There is no easy way to remedy the problem due to space restrictions, but I feel that the metal over the hose will protect it. I didn't take any pictures, but I would suggest taking a look at the hose if you have a similar model.
