Too true! In my case it was my sons android tablet - destroyed and made the schwintek come out of alignment (one side retracted more than the other). A schwintek controller reset fixed that but there was no hope for the tablet. He set it down on the floor next to the bunk/sofa. I never saw it there when operating the slide.
Back on the topic, my bunk slide actually pulls in tighter at the top than the bottom. About a 1/2" difference - the bulb gasket its totally compressed at the top but only touching on the bottom. Its sealed but it did have me concerned. I had the dealer check into it and they said Lippert stated that it was fine as long as the bulb gasket is sealing.
