I also removed the couch and put in recliners - so much better! I removed the existing carpet, attached a board across the front. I matched the existing carpet the best I could, them attached the carpet. I left about a inch from the floor to make sure it did not drag when the slide moves.

remove couch

Hello Richall

I was wondering how you removed your couch from your Sunseeker? We are thinking about removing ours and installing a recliner as well. Thank you

Rhughsless. We use a local Rv guy to do all our work. He just removed the front panel and the bolts at the bottom. The sofa was let out flat to make it easier to remove.
Right now the seat belts are still attached. Not sure what will have to be done when the seat belts are removed.
Maybe others on here can tell you more....others??

Rlchall, Thank you for the information. We will probably go to Camping World once we have decided which recliner we like. We used to have a private individual who worked on our coach, but he moved out of the area.

That was the shelf with the drink holders that was mounted above and behind the Jackknife sofa that was removed. DH cut it and mounted them beside the new loveseat. Works perfectly.
