Generator- HELP!

I am on a trip and really need our generator. Our unit is brand new 2.6 hours. Onan 4kw. I ran it two days ago and it ran fine. Today, I primed it hit the switch and it tries to start, but won't. I have held the switch down repeatedly with no luck. Sounds like its not getting fuel. Batteries are good, I filled the gas tank full to eliminate that concern, oil is good. Again brand new. I've tapped on the carb bowl- no luck. Any ideas? Thank You.

As to the fuel filter- the gen set has a born on date of 2/13. I assumed that would be to quick for that to clog. I don't even see one in an obvious place. As to the fuel shut off, I looked all through the manual and now toon of one, and I don't see one on the fuel line to the carb. Seems like a switch would be a good idea though.

Those onan gem sets also have an electric fuel shut off that could be stuck or god forbid it died.

They are normally screwed into the bowl .

If you're down to 1/4 main fuel tank it will forbid gen operation.

Thanks guys for all the suggestions. It does appear it may be a parts issue, not just my user error. I did go straight to the gas station since I was at half a tank, but no help. I figured maybe the fuel pick up tube was placed to high.

Disappointed, we just pulled out from our camp spot to come home. We need power to run my daughters medical equipment, the whole reason we bought the class c. I just got it back from the dealer fixing all the other bugs. We've owned it for a month now, and not able to use being a the dealer. Not looking forward to leaving it again. That's the price we pay to have toys I guess.
