Going to los vegas
HAY HOW IS EVERYONE. Hope you all had a great winter. lots of snow this year, but that's ok. Need to give the ski doo's there time to. Wife wants to go to Vegas this year with the motorhome. was wondering if anyone could recommend a good camp ground. We live in a town of about 5000 people so not looking forward to driving in the city. was hoping for something with a shuttle to town. We live in northern Ontario so just getting there should be fun.

Going to los vegas
Tell me what your plans are for here and where you are headed to after.
Your best bets are Las Vegas motor coach park and oasis rv resort. Both are at the south side of town so pretty easy to get around and both offer clean facilities and security for your rig.
You could also do circus circus KOA if you don't mind a giant parking lot.

We send me a PM when you know your arrival so I can relay what's hot and what's not. If you are going to the Grand Canyon, there are a few nice CG. Along the way.

I've heard that it can be pretty cozy getting around. I've never been though.
As for the OP- I think that one of the hotels has a RV Park- Circus Circus, maybe. There's also a KOA in the middle of everything, I think.

That's great to hear. It'll be a while until I make it out there- but I definitely have it on my list of places to go.

I'm originally from Vegas and I can tell you it ain't what it used to be! Park the coach and take the public transportation anywhere on the strip and downtown to Fremont Street. Sign up for a trip to Hoover/Boulder Dam. Take the Dam tour and have lunch at the Dam Cafe. Do not take the coach down there. Way twisty road. The highway to Grand Canyon is a great getaway and some nice camp grounds at the South Rim. If you'd like some info on other great sites to see around Grand send me a PM and we'll get you hooked up.
Most of all have FUN!!

Just got back from Vegas a couple of weeks ago. While your out there stop in at the Paris Hotel/Casino and say hi to my money. I hope it misses me as much as I miss it.
Shouldn't be hard to find as we left it all over the Casino. A little here, a little there, and there, and there, and there, and a lot over there.

In a stupid spend of money when we went to Vegas 10+ years ago, we rented a limo to take us to the Hoover Dam and then around town for the night. They had special parking and we got to see some of the major sights in town. It was pretty fun, but expensive.

We just got back from there on Tuesday. While we were out there we drove by Circus Circus Koa and stopped at Sam's Town. We drove around the Sam's Town Rv Park. They both looked very nice but don't expect it to be with grass and trees. They are just a big Parking lot with a few palm trees and a pool. We stayed at a Treasure Island and rented a car to go see Hoover Dam and check out some other sites.
