Hard wired Surge Guard

I will be getting the wired version of the Surge Guard for my Sunseeker 3010. The breaker box is located on the bed frame. Wondering if most install it under the frame near the box or is there a better location? Says you want it easily seen, but thinking under the bed won’t be very easy to get to.
