Heat pump
Heat pump uses 120 volt, so requires shore power or generator running. Furnace uses propane for heat and needs 12 volt for fan and controls. If you have shore power available and outside temperature is above about 30 F, the heat pump is a good alternative. If colder, or no shore power, then furnace.
Furnace has air ducts that blow heated air on water pump and sewer connections, and heated air also provides some heat around holding tanks, so consider using that when temps are near freezing.
