Heated tank question

We have a 2013 3010ds sunseeker and I noticed while dumping today that the black and grey holding tanks have wires with a sensor going into them. My question is how do you turn those on? The tech didnt mention on the walk through and I can't find it in the book. Thanks!

Are you sure what you saw isn't for your fluid level sensors ?
Tank heaters are rectangular pads on the bottom of tank.

And don't be surprised if after emptying the tanks the indicators show it partially full. They are notorious for their inaccuracy.
