heater & tv

I will be traveling in january so is it better to travel with the coach heater running while driving or use generator to run stand alone heaters. 2nd question is the tv thur the radio in front. someone said we need a filter to remove the noise of the heater coming into the surround sound system. need to know what to get keep on camping oldnewguy

If the van's heater isn't enough, I'd run the furnace. It'd be a lot cheaper than running the genset.

i was thinking to run the unit heater, but was not sure it would run with the unit in motion. still looking for the thread on the tv filter to remove the noise on the surround sound when going from the front dash

I'm not sure what you mean by noise??? IF you get feedback from the 12 volt system you can put ground loop isolators on there. As for running it through the TV you can improve the sound by running the audio out as "fixed" instead of variable. Gives a cleaner output to radio so that the radio is doing the work.

that is what i was looking for, the name of the item to remove the noise of the 12v system. thanks have a great holiday oldnewguy
