Help!! Hot water heater shifted while driving.

I just arrived to our destination, went out to turn the water heater on and it looks as if it has shifted. I can move it slightly, I attached a picture, just wondering if it just needs to tightened. Everything on the inside looks ok. Click image for larger version

Could it be that the bezel came loose from the water heater? I just went out and looked at mine and there are 3 long screws that look to me like they secure the bezel to the water heater. One of mine, the top one, was way loose and flopping around. It's worth a look.

I will take a look, it works fine, planning on messing with it on the way home.

Check for tightness and caulk around the access panel.

Water Heater

Usually the water heater sits on top of some kind of support to raise it up off the floor. Maybe a piece of wood or a small box structure. Look and see if there is any thing that shifted from under the heater. Frank

Mine did the same, I used wood shims to prop it back where it belonged ( from the inside, cause it's handy from behind the kitchen cabinets on my MH. ) I firmed it into place with some spray foam ( great stuff ). - it hasent moved for 7 months during travel.

Take a look at these threads from the Georgetown sub-forum.

This one has a good write-up with pictures.

It's odd that the top came out. What did you find on this?
