You can't go wrong with the Prodigy P3. You should be able to purchase the correct wiring harness for your vehicle where you buy the controller. Plug and play. It's the best.

FYI, the factory trailer wiring plug on my 2014 was up behind the coin tray to the upper right of the steering wheel. I used my Prodigy from my former MH and bought the correct wire harness. Fished the OEM wire harness down to below the
Steering wheel and mounted the Prodigy there. Some people say there isn't enough room there, but I haven't had a problem.

use the rigid mount, not the one that might allow it to pivot. these inertia controllers dont like to flop around.

Here's a link, that may help you, to an article (including photos) on installing a brake controller in a 2014 Ford E450:

Would you recommend the same prodigy p3 for an 07 Dodge Ram 2500 6.7 diesel pulling a 2016 windjammer 3029W?

Check you storage areas in the truck. Many times trucks with towing capabilities/packages, have the wiring harness needed included in a small plastic bag in glove box or storage area.

Absolutely. The P3 is the best aftermarket brake controller I have ever used.

Sounds about right. Buy it from eTrailer so you have good support in case you have questions.
