help with winterization bypass install

We bought a cameo winterization bypass kit to install on our water pump... Now trying to make sure we install at proper place. Here is a picture of our water pump area. Could not find any diagram in our manuals.

We believe left side is the "in" but we don't know what the small plastic container attachment in that line is (anybody?) Should we install before or after that juncture?

The small plastic container on the left side is a coarse sediment filter prior to input in pump. You can unscrew it to clean it. Winterization kit goes before filter on blue water pipe from fresh water tank. (top blue pipe above pump).

That is what we did, as well! Tomorrow we will refill our water tanks, recirculate clear water through sanitized l lines, open the hot water bypass and see how well we survived our first winterization procedure. Next year should be so much easier!
