Hi from a Class C Noob

Hi Everyone from Beaumont, Texas

My first post here. Well, we had a 2006 Class A Bounder and felt it was too big ( people think we are nuts when I say too big) for or weekend warrior lifestyle.

Couple of trips to various sales places and we are now the owner of a 2014 Sunseeker 3170D.

Made our maiden voyage in it this weekend and it does take a bit of adjusting and relocating our of our camping "junk" but we like it.

Just thought I would drop in and say hi !

Drake, I am very interested to hear about your impressions of the Sunseeker, this is the sister of the unit we are thinking about, the Forester 3171ds.

How is the access to the bathroom while slides are in? And with the Bottom bunk folded flat?

Thanks,

Carl B

Carlb, the bathroom door will open almost 90 degrees with the rear slide in. We don't find it a bother one bit to get in and out of the bathroom with the slide in. You just have to walk past the door before you open it.

I've never tried pulling the lower couch out into the sleeping position while the slide is in. It probably would work, but you'd loose you're walkway to the rear.

So far so good, I think you are going to have a very hard time opening the door with the bottom bunk folded flat and the slide in.

Still learning the inns and outs of it, but I think we made a good pruchase
