Hooking Dish Tailgater through connection by shore power

Can I hook my dish tailgater using the cable connection near the 30 amp powesupply, I know it works for cable, just unsure if it is the right kind of cable to transmit satellite signal

You don't have a satellite hookup?

Should work fine, providing there is not a spliter in the line some where. We have to run a seperate line since there is a splinter going to the back TV.

Maybe the new Sunseekers have a separate satellite connection, mine does not.

Mine doesn't carry the dish signal. Run a flat line through a side window. Have a mod in the works for that.

Do any of you use an inverter or have full hookups for power? Where do you have the satellite receiver? My connection is probably like yours, it only works for cable.

On my 5er, I ran my own feeds to where ever I wanted... RG 6 cable and a few fittings from HD....Also made a front and rear mount for ant. (dish....King Flex auto) so that no cables would be lay'n on ground to be tripped over at night....With 2 TV's I also have 2 receivers, 1 for inside tv, other for outside. So, it can be done.

The loop connects the TV to either the cable connection on the side or the connection on the roof. The roof is the terminal that is not connected. You can use either of the outside connections to hook up the tailgater.

Yes Sage the tailgater goes into the cable in connection on Rv the loop has to be taken off and put back on when cable is used receiver line in goes to top of loop receiver line out goes to bottom also the hdmi cable has to be connected to receiver and tv put tv on hdmi 1 this is the main tv the others work on channel 3 receiver off for antenna or cable change all the channels from the one receiver only plays one channel at a time what ever the receiver is on but we only watch one at a time all three of mine work perfect this way

It may be hidden. My Sunseeker doesnt have the bed over the cab, more of an entertainment center.
