How can I tell if I have a fiberglass roof?

I have a 2014 Sunseeker 2860DS and it seems like a fiberglass roof and not a rubber roof. But a guy at the parts counter of an RV dealer said he thought it would be a rubber roof. They sell Sunseeker so it seems like he should know but it would not surprise me that he doesn't.

If you can't tell by just looking at it (smooth, rubber vs wrinkly, fg) tap on it with a coin. Rubber will be a dull thud and fg will have a click sound.

Mine seems hard, but has a textured surface. Are the rubber roofs smooth? I have a Sunseeker brochure that doesn't have any model year info on it that states they have a fiberglass roof. I want to confirm what I have before I use acetone to clean the Dicor and apply the Eternabond tape.

I believe there are 2 types of rubber roof material used; EPDM and TPO. EPDM will have a black underside and TPO will be the same color on both sides. One way to tell could be by removing the 4 screws that hold a fan or vent inside bezel to see if the material is wrapped around the opening and stapled to the inside ceiling. If it is, it's rubber. FG will be cut flush with opening.

I'm quite sure yours has a fiberglass roof. My 2015 Sunseeker does. It appears like a "pebble" surface. Acetone is fine for the surface.
