How cold does your fridge get?
We have the 4 door fridge on our 2015 3010ds. I am a little concerned that it is not staying cold enough.
This past week I had to set it on '5' to maintain the temp I like (38 degrees). While it did hold that fairly well, my concern was that it was only in the low 70's outside and we kept it the same inside the coach.
If I had to set it on max cold in those temps, I am wondering what will happen when it is 95 outside.
As an experiment I tried it on both gas and electric. While the initial cooldown (we always turn fridge on 24-36 hours before each trip) is faster on gas, once cold it does not make much difference.
Any thoughts?

Mine stays around 35 degrees even when it is around 100 degrees outside. It has dropped down to 25 degrees and have had to back off the adjustment. It hasn't always been that way though. I had problems keeping it at 60 degrees when it was hot out. I installed 5 - 12V computer fans with a high speed and high CFM rating in the vent shaft behind the refrigerator. Now we have no problems cooling it down quickly and keeping it there.

Norcold 2 door stays 33degrees in frig and 3 degrees in freezer with the control on 3 of 5 regardless of outside temps of up to 100 degrees last summer in MO. Dual outside fans and dual inside fans.

jrwalkerpa1, I also have the four door fridge in my 3051s, have not changed fans or done any mods to it, on setting 4 out of 5 the fridge will stay at 34 deg. when in the 70 -80 range outside and go up to 37/39 deg when it gets warmer outside.Works same on elect. or gas.You may want to get yours checked out.

I have no problems keeping my 4 door in low low 30's regardless of temp.. and freezer temps around zero...keeping the couch spot on level is a must for refrigs good operation. Biggest complaint with my 4 door is crappy door latch handles and very loud fan

We've not done any mods to our fridge, and I've never checked the temp, but I do know that I turned it down too far a couple of weeks ago and *froze* the eggs!
We fully expected cooling problems with our fridge, since it's in a slide, but knock on wood, so far it's chillin' like a mug!

I am not having problems with the temperature in the fridge it is the freezer that doesn't get cold enough. The Moho is level and we start the fridge a least one day before we leave.

Just a quick follow up. Finally got a chance to have the fridge checked out at the dealer. Turns out that the door latch is broken. Feeling slightly stupid that I missed that as the most obvious reason of all for a warm fridge..the door is not shut 😁
I was suspicious that it should be tighter but did not realize it was broken.
Dealer is ordering the parts so we should be good to go in a week or so.

For the benefit of others when you close our fridge you have to give it that extra little push so the latch clicks locked otherwise it looks closed but the center button is still not flush with the rest of the latch

Ours maintains 35* in the box and 0* to +5* at 100*+ ambient temp. Like OC we have dual condenser and dual evaporator fans. Ours is the two door Dometic fridge with the slide bar temp adjustment set to 3/4 + towards colder. Have not changed the setting for a couple of months now.

Old Coot.. Yes we use that thermometer. works great and is accurate.
TRdutch some of our original latches wont latch and feel different. one was like that on walk down and replaced from another coach and another one is already the same way. I read on a different forum they have redesigned them and last better. They will supposedly send a new complete set if you ask.

Frig stays around 33degrees and freezer stays around 5degrees regardless of outside temperature. We have 2 fans inside the frig and 2 outside mounted just above the burner tube blowing up across the entire back of the frig.
