How well does your backup camera work at night?

My backup camera is great, I keep it on all the time to monitor my TOAD. But after dark it is just grey static. It seems it has IR LEDs around it, but apparently they don't work. So I am wondering if this is normal for Sunseeker or should it be able to render an image after dark?

mine shows a image at night with the lights on the highway. However i have not tried it on a non lit road.

My 5.5 year old backup camera has grainy grey image at night, but useable.

Ive got a 2016 3011, the rear cam works great at night, or day, in fact I've had to turn the brightness down some, because of the headlights coming from behind. If I turn down too much it grays out (snow).

Time to hit the road again
