Ha ha! I've always known mine was there, but a word of warning, don't put too much weight on it. That bracing looks pretty stout but it doesn't take much to bend it.

None on the 3170ds, but my dealer had installed rear stabilizer jacks since I didn't go with the bigfoot option.

ONLY the 2860 got those. With both slides on the one side we installed those to make sure it didn't lean. Since then we started using the air bags, but we've never taken them off again.
Actually the 3050 might get them now as well. I'll have to look into that.

Now 35 owners.... and I'm as happy as a pig in mud... I had asked about why there was only rear stabilizers, didn't get much of an answer from our dealer. I've kept thinking how I might add it myself. Thank you. Thank you , thank you, for your post! But now I'm wondering what other neat easter eggs I still need to find.

Looks like you will need a long extension to activate them.

The normal handle for the rear ones work. You just have to get a little further under the bumper.

Being old, feeble and extremely lazy, I'd be putting a permanent extension on it.

Went camping this weekend and found the normal handle works! Now I did have to lay down a bit under the bumper to get it going, but once it started to descend, the handle clears the bumper easily. It actually went up/down MUCH easier than the rear.

18volt cordless and a wrench from CW will be your friend. Just do not over speed the screw.
