Ice maker in 2018

The ice maker in our new 2018 Sunseeker 3050S is not filling with water. DH filled with some water and it cycled to dump the ice so it must be in the fill. Any suggestions. Don't see suggestions in manual.

Just a couple of points.
The ice maker will only operate when on shore/generator power.

Make sure that you are connected to city water (turned on) or have the water pump on if you are using the fresh water tank to supply water.

There is a water shutoff valve for the ice maker under the fridge. Remove the front panel below the fridge and you will see it there. It is most likely a push/pull type valve (don't confuse it with the 3 water heater bypass valves). From what you have said I'm guessing this valve is turned off.

Also check the ice maker water solenoid to be sure the wires are connected. (many times they are disconnected to winterize/de-winterize). That you will find behind the outside access door. there are 2 1/4" quick disconnect crimp connectors on it. It does not matter which goes where.

Let us know what you find.

It is plugged into shore power in our RV barn and on city water. I'll try what you suggested and let you know. Thanks so much.
