My inverter on my 2002 sunseeker 2900 is shot. However the battery cable has been broken for over a year. Does the rear battery still get charged somehow? Do I need this inverter for anything? I have a generator to run ac power if needed. Any suggestions to charge the back battery? Thanks Rudy
I don't know how you have things wired, but the inverter doesn't charge the batteries unless it's an inverter/charger. You probably have a converter which is what charges your batteries.

I wont be able to get more info on the inverter or converter or whatever it is until this weekend. It has 2 cables that go to the battery on one side and a romex wire that comes out the other side and goes into a box that I think is a transfer switch.
Converter charges your batteries and is typically in a brown covered box with your fuses and breakers. Inverter converts your 12v battery supply into 110 and typically an aftermarket install
Is that located in the last compartment on the pass side? If so , it is the converter for charging your bats. Should be hard wired into the panel were circuit brakers and fuses are. I had to change mine.
