The filter is below the tank and all other piping except for the water pump, which is next to it.
There are red and blue pex tubes hanging down, but only the red one is a low point drain. The blue is the drain for the FW tank, not the cold piping. Hence my question. I'm quite sure the answer is that the filter acts as the low point drain. It drains into the plastic compartment pan, and the pan has a drain plug. It's not optimal but it works.
IS IT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR FR TO PUT THIS IN THE MANUAL?
They don't mention low point drains at all. They just talk about using air or antifreeze.
