Mine didn't come with a lug wrench either. I was told the latest builds eliminated it. The spare is nice but it's bolted and chained under the chassis. It doesn't have the spare tire cable winch like Econoline vans or pickups have so unless you have a floor jack you have to lay down under, loosen the bolt and chain, drop the tire on your chest and slide it out. Thus the comment that they don't want the owner to change his own tires. I plan a trip to the salvage yard for an superduty jack, wrench and spare tire cable winch to remedy the shortcomings.
Thanks...I may do the same. I sure don't relish having to change a tire, but on the other hand is would be nice to have the means to if one got caught out in the middle of no where.
I suspect I am just the person Ford had in mind when when they decided to require professional tire changing.
