Jensen head unit/ iPod functionality.

So i recently purchased the Jensen JLink USB iPod cable and tried to hook it up today. Hooked up fine and played onto the Head Units screen no problem. When i try to send the signal to the Rear TV, The iPod button is greyed out on the Head unit's rear TFT menu. Does anyone have any idea why? The jensen radio has a Front TFT menu and a rear TFT menu. This way you can play one thing on the rear TV and play something else on the front head unit. By Rear TV, i mean the one in the kitchen of the Sunseeker 3010.

This was the only thing I could find mentioning the playback for iPod.

"NOTE: To transmit the video from your iPod® to the VM9726BT screen, you must set the following options through the iPod® video settings menu:
TV Out = On, TV Signal = NTSC, and Widescreen = On."

It is setup like that. The Radio is receiving the signal because it is playing on the Radio's screen. However, the radio has a setting for the "Rear Zone" yet the iPod source is there but greyed out. It makes no sense.

An ASA rep left their direct number on here a while back. I'd call them directly...I have personally never tried the iPod video connection and I'll bet less than 1% of RV'ers have.

Brian,

I figured it out. Instead of trying to press the iPod app on the rear TFT screen, you have to press Aux 1 and then it will send the video to the middle TV.

One question though. While we are driving, the kids are playing PS3 on the kitchen TV. is there a way to not have the dash radio playing on the surround sound speakers. it seems like no matter what i pressed, it kept playing through those speakers and the kids could not hear there TV

The surround speakers are split right and left as the rear feed. Front speakers are only the dash speakers.
