I am soon to have the same dilema. Moving from a TT toy hauler to a 2500TS. Kayak and fold bote would go in the trailer. bikes and all kinds of stuff in the truck. Fantastic storage under fold down bed in cargo area. I have a sea eagle explorer. Very capable boat, but not the same as a hard side SOT. To regain some storage and convenience, it appears a toad is going to be a necessity. Hopefully they will come out with a light weight compact pickup again. It can carry all the toys and more. It would be far easier to have a small truck and not be limited to places you can ride or paddle. But if no toad, inflatable or modular is the easiest route
