Large slide

We recently had an issue with the slide on our 3050S and wondering if others have had any problems. At first it was felt there was just debris and RV dealer cleaned and lubricated but a week later we had problems again. They felt it was the front motor and said since the slide was so large. We had the front motor replaced and it has been suggested by our contact at Forest River that we have support brackets put in as well.
We are just wondering if others have had any problems. We use our unit a total of 6 weeks each summer at most and in most cases we are in one place for a week at a time so we don't feel the slide gets over use.
Any feedback would be welcome. It is a 2014 so this is our third season and we love our motorhome!

The bolts that hold the outside brackets in for the slide are known to come out because they are too short. I had two screws that had loosened on my 2014 this summer. I had them replaced with longer ones and have not had problems since then. Your slide motors could also be out of sync if you dont fully extend it and retract it each time. You may need to reset it. Its a big, heavy slide and it doesnt take much for it to have issues.

Yes we have had lots of issues with slides and motors and towers on our 2015 slide out. We had front tower replaced, wore out tracks since opening was not correct size, dealer repaired with new tower, motor on front end.

Then this one failed again, so Forrest River replaced the 300 to 1 assembly at both ends with a heavier 500 to 1 assembly.

Then about 3 months later front motor failed and would not open, FR replaced with a new motor.

We are hoping all issues are not solved.

PS We only sync each time the slide out goes in not both directions, also with the new stronger motors, the nails that hold the trim started to come loose so replace with bronze screws.

PPS If you hear any clunks the tracks are wearing and must be replaced.
