Leaking 3050S (again)

You can find posts from me over a year ago about leaks with my slide. After yet again thinking it's fixed once and for all. We discovered it leaking again. Back to the dealer. This has got to be a record - seventh time back to the dealer to fix the same issue. They had it for over two months this winter to get it right. Will it ever be right?

Is it always leaking in the same spot? Are you referring to a rain leak whereas it leaks into the coach when it rains? Or an internal leak from a water source?

Check all the seams in the slide. In my 3050, FR didn't apply any sealant to the seam on top of the slide, and the seams along the sides weren't sealed at the wall junction, leaving large gaps. They also only used a few fasteners along the top seam... looked like they quit halfway through. Water would seep into that seam, and would show up in puddles all over the place.

Dealer fixed the top seam, but I still went through every square inch of that slide and sealed it properly. Use a good self-leveling silicone sealant too (nuflex 311). Works much better than dicor.

My 3170 had a leak in the rear slide. It was the seam on the top of the slide. One way to check is to close the slide and shoot water at it. If nothing gets in, open the slide and shoot water on top of slide. If it leaks that's your problem. You have to remove the topper, clean top of slide with alcohol and use dicor or something similar. Mine never leaked until a strong storm with rain going sideways got under the slide.

It's when it rains. The water always appears in the linoleum floor. It is dripping from the bottom of the slide (when closed) onto the floor and then runs in the direction of the slope of the RV. They must have fixed some because it didn't leak for 6 weeks and now it's leaking at ONLY one of the spots that if was before.
