Leaking and losing water fast. Help?

Hi. Camping with a full freshwater tank, but it is now leaking. Water is dripping steadily.

It's coming from the yellow/tan twist-on piece on the top left. This is in the outside cabinet under the bunk beds.

Pump is off. The valve at the bottom of those hoses is in the shut-off position.
Any other ideas? At this rate, we'll be without water in a day or two with no way to refill.

We're not handy either.

Thanks!

Looks like the valve is in the off position restriction flow. What happens when you open the valve(turn it the other way)? That top piece is a pressure set

The leaking does not stop regardless of the valve's position.

Have you tried to tighten the yellow/tan cap? Also the Cap/fitting could be cracked. Is this the first time you used it this year? Could it have froze and cracked over the winter?

Should be an O ring inside the valve. The cap should come off exposing the O ring. May be leaking through that

I had a leak there also
It was a bad o ring (the little rubber ring that seals the plastic cap)
Obviously the shop or dealer will eventually help you but out on the road, try unscrewing the cap to see if it's broken like was mentioned earlier
If it's ok look at the O ring
Mine had a little chunk out of it and I turned it around till I got a new one

That brass fitting is a 2-way valve to use when winterizing. You remove the cap and attach a hose that you insert into an anti-freeze jug, when you turn the valve and run the water it will draw the antifreeze into your system.

You don't need that valve until next winter, if that is the piece leaking just use a couple wrenches and remove it completely. The hose fitting should mate directly to the motor with that piece removed.

Correct way to go! Youroo!! These valves are VERY restrictive anyway!
