Leveling options

I have a 2013, SS 2300 and we are looking at automatic leveling options. I wanted to know if anyone has the Big Foot Levelers on their unit and if they would recommend them, or is there another aftermarket brand there is better? Thanks!

I have Bigfoot levelers and they work great. Now with that said i have not owned another brand. But.....I am very pleased with Bigfoot and they have worked flawlessly for me.

We have a 2017 MBS 2400 WS and have the Bigfoot Stabilizers on the rear. they do help take the sway out of the MH when the full length side slide is out.

A 4 piston Bigfoot Automatic leveling system isn't light. Are you sure you want to add that much weight to your aleady near capacity Class "C"?

Almost $3700 plus installation.

Better plan on keeping that RV for a long while because you will never recoup the cost.

Not sure what the Big-Foot Leveling system weights, but we have the Chevy 4500 on the SS 2300 so I am thinking there is ample weight left over?

look in your drivers door frame and you will see what kind of carrying capacity you have. Remember, black water, grey water, and fresh water weigh 8 lb/gal, passenger weight counts, and everything you may add also counts, including the tongue weight of any trailer you may tow.

I don't have a clue what your 2300 can carry.
I do know that the my MBS 2400 WS has a carrying capacity of just over 1000 pounds.

My GVWR is 14,200 (GAWR FRT 4,680 & GAWR RR 9,600). We carry the average amount of gear including a couple of bikes. I probably need to weight is next time out. Thanks for the tip!

X2 on bigfoot the way to go. Our 2300 (chevy) has a 4310 CCC, the 2250 is 4560! Not alot out there less than a pusher is rated as high. The ford 2300 is listed at 2550, then it is a judgement call. But it sure makes life a little more civilized..

We'll keep our our Lynx levelers . They are used rarely. Here @ Kirk Creek cg , they were needed .

I like my BigFoot levelers. I find it to be a bit aggressive as it often wants to lift the wheels off the ground, so I usually use it on manual.

I have had levelers on my Class A's for over 16 years. Couldn't live without them. Last year, I decided to downsize to a Class C. The model I saw had a Big Foot system, so I ordered my coach with them.

More frequently than not my tires are off the ground after leveling. Make sure emergency brake is on and it will be fine. The auto setting takes into consideration water run off and are set that way at the factory. So let them do their thing

Your bigfoot levelers can be quite a bit out of calibration from the factory. I recommend using your fridge as point of where to level and recalibrate the levelers. The process is super simple.

I drove to the factory and paid to have them installed. They level perfect almost all the time. If not I retract and auto level again. Never had to do it more than twice.

Big foot is a good system about the same as the rest that you can get installed, but I would look at the difference between system 3700.00 not installed is at the pricey end for me for the capabilities. You can get the 4 point level-up for about 3400.00 installed and it will do more the the big foot. I'll attach what each system can do or what they recommend what it can do.

I have and like the Big foot system. Just used them an hour a go, and they work fine. At first I used Auto but now mostly use manual as I stay just on the shy side of perfect which means less lifting.

We just returned from White Pigeon, MI where we had Big Foot Levelers installed, at the factory on our SS 2300 and we are very happy with them. They make a huge difference in setting up and tearing down. Thanks for all the recommendations from the group!
