A shear pin issue would only be the living room slide. Sync'ing motors would be the bedroom slide.

Please carry on, now that we're all on the same page (hopefully)

Thank you!!! Any tutorials on how to sync these?

This might help. Also if you go on you tube and type "schwintek" you will get lots of "video's how too"

Thanks, I did see that one. I'm also considering disengaging the motors, sliding the slide out completely and reengaging them to see if it will bring it in and if it will then slide out on its own. But dh isn't so keen on this though.

Also the rubber seal above the wardrobe is completely off the wall and just sitting on the wardrobe when the slide is in. Need to fix that as well.

Seals jamming up the works would also stop the slide from operating properly.

The seal is clear of the slide, we checked that as well.

This cold weather would not be best for troubleshooting. I would make sure the Battery is full or charged before starting , anything less that full power would cause issues with the motors. Is it possible something is stuck under the schwintek slide? Kids toy, in our case a dogs toy jammed it up. HTM try the syncing part first before pulling the motors, they are difficult to get at.

I checked for toys, but there's really not much room for anything to get under it.

Okay, I brought the MH home today. Charge the batteries and extended the wall slide. Still only 12", the rear of the slide stops moving after the front of the slide stops. I can also hear a little bit of metal on metal sound as it stops moving. I tried extending and retracting to align them and it's completely aligned when it's retracted completely, but when it goes out again, the rear starts lagging behind again. I also tried holding the button in for 3-5 seconds to reset the zero point, but that didn't help extending. So I'm at a loss.
