Low point drains

I know it was 91 today in Atlanta, but while looking at the coach water system I wondered just how many (and where) my low point drains are in the 2300. I see the red and blue lines and I will look further, but I thought this it would be a great topic to sound off on, so whats your model and where are they?

This thread will be useful come old man winter....

thanks....

My 2450 has two. Red and blue. The blue is for the fresh tank and utilizes a valve located beside the filter. The red drains the house and utilizes a cap located under the right rear behind the axle.

Red with cap is hot water line drain. Blue controlled by valve next to water pump is cold drain and fresh water tank drain. Those are the only two. Also need to remove water filter holder to get water out of it. Use compressed air to blow out city water connection (and water stuck in lines) and black tank flush. Drain and bypass water heater. Add antifreeze to sink traps and (if you like) pump through water lines.

Got one for the fresh water tank and a red and blue line under the water heater. For those.....I took the caps off and installed a ball valve in their place...makes draining a lot easier.

Water wonders...

It seems from the thread started after this one all sunseekers only have two low points togther under the filter bay. Wonder why the hot water uses a cap and not a valve.

In my filter bay I have one red line and three blue line.

- red is the HW drain
- blue (bottom) from filter to sinks/bath.
- blue (center) from water tank to pump/drain.
- blue (top) in tee with the pump to the filter.

now the question, is the blue (top) line the city water feed. and if so where is the bypass value at? It is not at the tee in the bay. Is it attached to the feed line that is accessible with the shower trap?

The top blue is the city water feed. Not sure what you mean by a bypass valve. The city water connection has a check valve in it so water can go into the line but not out. When using water from the tank (with the pump), city water line will fill, but only to the check valve--then water has no choice but to flow into the rest of the water lines.

Agree..

Do you have an idea where the check valve is? I am thinking it may be in the area of the shower trap behind the (black 12x12x4 - 4 screw fixture in the top of the left rear bay) I can see the city water hose (white) connected to blue pex. don't have a problem right now, just wondering....

The check valve is in the city water connector. It is just inside behind the screen. A little plastic valve with a spring on it.
