LP Bracket Anchor Point...

Using the LP tank bracket for an anchor point.

I’m looking for a place to attach a U bolt, spring, short chain as a anchor point for a dog cable.. on past campers I’ve used the bracket on the bottom of the awning leg, or the step frame work. On my new Sunseeker 3120 the only practical place I can find is a bracket on the LP tank,, any reason why I should NOT use this? short of drilling a hole to attach a eye bolt through the wall what do you guys suggest? I like clean and simple and really do not want to drill holes. The dog is a 75# Catahoula and does not yank and pull on the cable but has to have one.

Thanks in advance.

My only concern would be chaffing on the tank or hoses. The LP support is tested to 7 times its weight, full. Plus , anytime you can avoid LP, the better.

There should be some seat belt bolts under the sofa.

My advice is get a 1/4 inch galvanized or plated eye bolt and drill
thru your tongue and install the eye bolt.
It's a 5 minute job, not even a one beer job

It's a class C not a TT. that's my problem. no tongue, no steps, no bottom bracket on the awning, the LP compartment is the closest to the door and does not need a key to open.

Could you use one to the ground stake tieouts. Thatway you will not have to drill in to your unit.
