magnadyne

I have a 2013 sunseeker with a magnadyne m4 lcd,it worked well on the first trip of 2000 miles ,it sat for a month and i can not power it up either with remote or manual button. I have checked all the possible fuses all are good anybody have suggestions. I am a very long distance away from good service need a few suggestions Thanks Ian

I would first try the paperclip reset - lower left of the radio. If no luck, I would pull the radio out of the dash (on a Sunseeker, I think easy with the "U" tools). Believe there is another ( in-line) fuse on the switched power lead to check. If still no luck, I would (with the radio pulled) connect (jump) + 12 volts (fused) to both the switched and the un-switched power inputs and jump wire the unit body to ground. If still dead, would conclude it must be internal to the radio. Good luck.

Make sure either the house power is on (battery disconnect switch on), or ignition switch is on. If it still doesn't turn on, try the reset as mentioned.

Next I would call Magnadyne. They have been very helpful to me. My ipod connection would not work. I also am a long way from a dealer. After following several suggestions that did not fix it, they sent me a new radio. (FR offered to find someone to replace it if I didn't think I could do it myself-but it was easy to swap.)

if battery is low for any reason.... it wont power on. we just went through this.
had to turn the engine on to get it going.
