Manually slide out the above the floor side out on a 2013 3170 sunseekerout

After advice from the forest river/sunseeker tech people and the manufacture of the gear box. The only way to get to the broken pin inside the gear box was to either remove the entire slide out or cut a hole in the platform under the couch and remove the top of the gear box and replace the broken pin. In the 2013 model the gear box could not be reached from underneath

What gearbox are you are referring to and which option are you choosing?

Do you have the LCI Above Floor Slide single rail or dual rail?

On one of our previous units you could access the motor and gearbox by removing the front panel at the slide floor. It was a tight fit, but you could reach it if you had to.
