mildew under paint protector

I have mildew growing under the vinyl paint protector on the hood and cap of my 3010. Impossible to remove without removing the vinyl. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what did you do about it?

The Diamond Shield can be removed by applying some heat, use a hair dryer or heat gun, and then carefully peeling it off. Then use a good cleaner to remove the sticky residue and mildew. After that a good coat of wax unless you intend to redo it...

FR had their vendor replace mine, under warranty, at the last FROG Rally as it was bubbling, peeling, and had "stuff" between it and the paint. If I take it off I won't be replacing it...
