If I have to pick one, it would be number 2. Why are all campers brown/tan/grey/beige? So boring...I sometimes wonder who picks the fabrics and patterns. Some that I saw at a recent camper show were just horrible.

Number two, also. I think the teal helps.

Choice 2 for reasons already stated.

Because everyone can deal with neutral. For every color someone LOVES you can find someone that HATES it. We have to commit to so much yardage of fabric/leather that we can't afford to have a color that 80% of the people hate (been there, done that). You'd rather have colors that 100% of the people can live with as opposed to an awesome color that 20% of the people love 80% hate.

having said that, I think we can get a little more bold in our colors choices by using them on pillows only and I'm working on an easily changeable valance as well.

I understand the neutral thought..but why so....dark BROWN?? It's always brown, or plaid, or fiberglassy looking. Forest River and Rockwood aren't so bad, but man, some of the campers - and I mean brand new are decorated like something out of the 70's or earlier. Wooly looking plaid...really?? I passed up on a few nice models of other manufacturers because I just couldn't handle the color scheme. It was like a dungeon dark.

Why such wild patterns? It looks like still in the 70s. The patterns look like something straight out of a show in the 70s but I cannot remember the name. Why do the valances and pillows have to have such old looking patterns? All I can think of is flower power. Why not just neutral colors so the customer can decorate to these colors.
