Need help with Heater - SOLVED

I have a 2003 3100 and it is my first rig. I have never tried the Furnace/heater in the unit beforbut want test for an up coming trip. I dont know anything about except the there is a thermostat on the wall. Its a Suburban . How do I turn it on? Do i just push the lever to the Temp I want and it comes on by itself?

Please any feedback would be greatly appriciated

Thanks

It works just like the thermostat in your home, just turn on your propane supply, make sure your house battery disconnect switch is on, and set your thermostat.

Do you have propane in your tank? Is the tank turned on? (can you use the burner on your stove?) Do you have electricity? Then just switch the thermostat to heat and select a temperature.

If the heater has not been used in a while you might want to clean out the burner area. Bugs sometimes like to build nests etc.

You may want to try and turn propane tanks off and slowly turn the valves back on .

Check the fuse in the power center
Check for gas at the range (3 good blue flames)
Set the switch on the thermostat to heat
set the temp

Simple as that.
