Correct. Started on some late model 14's and now 15's

If not already done - I think all models should have a 3-way switch in the step-well for the living room lights.
I love the step-well lights but it doesn't quite do the job when entering or leaving and is dark. I've often thought about wiring the living room lights to an additional switch at the step-well. Now I think I will pursue this - it should be fairly easy on my unit.
