New 2700DS issues and thoughts

Picked up the Camper from Longview Friday. Walk round etc was ok. But you got the feeling you where a number not a customer who spent 70k with them. Now have to get a repair organized. Two issues both related. First the bottom of the microwave screws have pulled out of the partial board. 2nd is the same with the cupboard door under the entertainment system. The issue is not the correct mounting screws into practical board. The build was ok but from a carpenters view mediocre on the wood finnish and joins. More detail is needed.
Well that's my 2 cents worth. On the whole everything did work as expected, even got a better water pressure filter for free ($6 difference) .

Congratulations on your Sunseeker. We have the Forester 2701DS and love the floor plan. I have made some mods and upgrades that you can find in the Forester Forum. Any questions on our model, send me a PM.
Enjoy and
SCD

In this case it is not the screws . The front panel is 3/4 thick. But as believe the panel is is used for multiple vans so it has ( what I call biscuit cut outs) preset locations for attaching extra cupboards and shelves. The bottom 2 screws went into the cut out effectively allowing the thickness of about 1/4 inch. My view is if the base for the microwave was placed an 1/2 inch higher, all would have been ok. Hope this makes sense.

Can you post some photos?
I had some swelling of the cabinet fascia at the bottom of the fridge. I replaced it with board from my dealer. It's a thin piece of pine or fir with a particle board laminate and vinyl cherry wrap. FR assembly was done using Kreg pocket screws. It wasn't easy to remove the swollen piece as other boards overlapped. I ended up just using my Dremel and cut it out. Then cut the new board to size adding pocket holes for the screws. For those places I couldn't use a screw, I used my brad nailer. So rather than have the whole cabinet removed, it's easier to just cut that section out and attach with pocket screws and brads. Just my opinion.
Second photo is before with swelling. The third shows it replaced with the added baseboard and corner molding I made.
Ignore the old man in the reflection!

What does the outside fascia look like, can it be covered by the frame and hinges?

Outside is all good it just needs a 1/2 in board glued and screwed on both insides then the microwave screwed in place with 1 and 3/4 screws. Problem solved

Good, I thought the fascia was ruined.

No my friend if that was the case then they would be replacing the fascia . Looked at some of your mods. The 2017 seems to have addressed those. Outdoor speakers are a control on the entertainment unit.
