Brian, not wanting to sound like a critic but the one problem I can see with the grab handle above the TV is the potential to grab the TV itself especially since going up/down a step ladder. Have you all tested this with any "minions"? I clearly see it is a battle for real-estate and aesthetics as to what would be the best most effective location.
And we all know the adult has to get up in there for the RV shakedown.

Still very innovative use of the space. Our current over-cab bunk, we will just put one kid up there when we have more than just our son. Problems happen when you put a pair of kids in the big bunk arrangement. This setup gives more options on bed space.

Brian, seeing that you all must have extended the over-cab bunk back into the coach and you stated it is available in all Sunseeker and Forester models; how does that affect the floorplans that have slides right behind the drivers seat? I measured my over-cab bunk and it is around 55 inches from front to platform edge. I measured out to 63" and it comes about 4 inches into the front slide path.
I can see from the photo shot you have in the first post that the cut-away where the ladder goes is deeper than the standard bunk setup. I thought the engineers might have cut further into the bunk platform but now I'm thinking that it was instead extended into the coach.

I know someone that is MH shopping and interested in this option.

Bobby

We extended the cab-over slightly. They're still tweaking a few things where cabinets interfere...but should have all floor plans resolved in time to take orders.

We have a new option that gives you a fixed TV and dual twin beds. Gives each of the kids their own bed, then folds up nicely out of the way.

Mr.Clemens,

could you post a picture with both sides beds shown and one with swing out
tv cabinet door.

thanks

I just saw a Sunseeker with this option at a local RV dealer. It is a neat option but really best for smaller kids. I noticed the open center well to the ladder from either bunk is a bit wide so there is some stretch for a smaller kid getting in and out.

This is VERY innovative. When I ordered my 3051S a few weeks ago this option was not presented to me.
