New owner- silly question

Ok, here it goes.... This is my first class c. I must have missed this on the demo, but what's the correct way to use the battery switch when plugged into 30 amp shore power? On or off? Does the charger maintain the batteries when the switch is off? Of course I understand the battery switch must be on going down the road and dry camping. Most of our camping is with full hookup so I will be plugged in.

Thanks for helping.

Battery switch should always be on unless parked or stored without being on shore power.

X2 on the volt ohm meter .
Get one.
