This is how the awning was stalled on our brand new Sunseeker 3050s. Is this normal? It seems to me like it's offset too much.
Here is the other side. Would the warranty cover the repair?Click image for larger version

The awning should not be pulling out of the track and would be covered under warranty. As far as "offset"? As long as it centered on the awning roller tube, you're good.

There is a plastic tube that goes down the entire length of the canopy, that is what holds it in the channel. On the second picture you can see it sticking out. And on the other end, it is about an inch inside from the end of the fabric. You could fix it yourself, take the tension off of the canopy and push the plastic tube to the other side while holding the fabric from moving in the channel. You will have to re-center it again in the channel. Roll up the canopy and make sure the rolls are even, not moving to one side or the other, like rolling up wrapping paper. The easiest way to do this is open up the canopy, move the fabric an inch or so to where you think it needs to go. Roll up the canopy and check it out, repeat as necessary, it does not have to be perfect. Then put a screw on each end to keep the fabric from moving in the channel. It does not look like they put those screws in, which is why it has moved. I would put some calk on the screws too, to seal up the holes.
